So the laptop finally blew up. It is amazing how lives have become dominated by the internet and how you feel paralysed when you have no access. The cold weather has continued, but with a slight hint of spring developing.
Here are some recent pics...
20 Feb: Big numbers of Wigeon at Buckenham still hide their American or possibly Falcated friend, despite my constant searching.
14 Feb: Part of a flock of 74 Taiga Bean Geese on Cantley. They will be off soon.
14 Feb: Due to a train strike, I had to go down to Brandon so that my wife could get a train to Cambridge. Popped into Lynford Arboretum to join the longstanding Hawfinch and Crossbill twitch. Three Hawfinches put on a fine display.
mid month Reg took the plunge and joined the 21st Century Shiny Scope Contingent, flushing all the wildfowl off Buckenham in a single sun-glinting sweep!
20 Feb: 58 Bewick's Swans headed east on a crisp, clear morning high over the Yare Valley, part of a clear out from the Ouse Washes.
14 Feb: Bearded Tits next to the Yare at Cantley. Always good to see.
mid Feb: Adelaide also joined the new-optics gang, but with a slightly lower price tag... Teach em young eh?
